| What do you think of kennels? | | Honestly I hate the kennels, especially those organized at the moment and therefore don't provide adequate care to the dogs!! Unfortunately, in Italy every day it's possible to see on television, kennels not by law and jailers disrespectful Animal.
If I could I would close them in those cages without light, food and water. What do you think? Thanks for the comments!

| | Running a kennels | | Hi
I was wondering if anybody knows how to start a kennels.
I live in Japan so of course I would have to find out the local laws and regualtions.
We have a lot of land and basically don't want to continue with the family buisisness of growing plants and trees, no money in it now. So I was thinking of building a kennel where people could board their dogs while on holiday. I was wondering what kind of facilities wer necessary.
Any ideas?Jacks | |

| Have you ever had to put your dog in boarding kennels? | | Recently I had to put our dog into boarding kennels for the first time and whilst I didn't particularily like the idea I had to do it as no one was available to dog sit.She was in the kennels for 5 days and as this was her first time I was a little worried about leaving here with people she didn't know.I needn't have worried as when I picked her up she was fine and was looked after well.Have you ever had to board your dog and if so, who was more worried about it you or your dog? | |
| | dog kennels | | I was wondering if you was building a simple dog kennel or dog lot, would you leave the floor be as dirt and grass,or put something else down.Concret is not what you want to use. What would you do?We have built one and I am after of it becomeing to muddy. And it's only for one dog. | |
|
| | how many dogs can you have? | | If I had unlimited funds and space I would have many dogs. I worked at one of the
dog training places, where dogs are trained to help people and my job was to let all the dogs out for play time. I cleaned a lot of poop, but I loved playing with all those dogs and think I would make a good kennel owner. Would you like that job? | |

| Breeders of Large Bulldogs | | Hello bulldog lovers! I breed bulldogs and am actually starting a kennel. I just thought it would be nice to hear from people that share the same intrests. I am going for short, muscular, big headed dogs that are good for show, companionship, easy to love, great with children and that just don't know they are dogs and are very proud. My main man (Rockstar) was born September 5, 2008. He weighs 70 pounds, stands 14 inches tall and has a 15 inch head. Compared to his mother and father he is expected to weigh 140 pounds, stand 16 - 17 inches tall and have a head measuring 28 inches when full grown. He is white with some blue and pure muscle. As soon as I figure out how to put pictures on here I would love to show his pic. So what about you other bully lovers and breeders? What do you have, breed or show and what are they like? | |
| | an amazing thing happened today. | | Although I work for a big retail company, I work "back of house" as it were, and my office is in a large building on a business park next to the river thames and semi rural. So it was no surprise a couple of days ago, when my work colleague said there was a stray dog hanging about the front of the building. I didnt get to see the dog at all but today, our regular routine was put on the back burner and "operation find the dog" was put into operation. I won't go into all the shenanigans my managers and the warehouse staff had to perform, but eventually they managed to get the dog in my department managers 4x4 and took her off down to the local kennels. Please note, calls to the local council and rspca were ignored. the council said they couldnt do anything until the local dog catcher was notified,( he wasnt taking calls??? or not at work??) RSPCA wouldnt do anything either. so it was left to my 3 female managers and one of the warehouse guys to catch her and take her to the local kennels. The local kennels were aware of her, she had been dumped outside their premises 3DAYS ago, she did try to get back to her owner when he walked away, but he kicked her back (witnessed by someone who... | |
